About the Job

Looking for a full-time Production Assistant to join our busy team, working with the Head of Production and Production Coordinator and assisting them with the planning and delivering of video productions of all scales.

We are a film and TV production company working primarily in classical music and other performing arts. We specialise in multicam filming, live streaming and broadcasting of music and other artforms, working with high profile arts organisations across the UK and beyond to create beautiful, class-leading music and arts films for television, specialist streaming platforms and social platforms.

As our Production Assistant you will report to the Head of Production, assisting them and the Production Coordinator in the planning and delivering of video productions of all scales. Your tasks may include administrative work on production planning, procurement, booking of hire vehicles, and post-production paperwork; designing and preparing graphics for live streams and films; managing our Vimeo channel as a viewing and review tool and up-to-date catalogue of work; and any additional duties required by the Head of Production. On location, you could work as a runner, technical assistant or in other roles depending on your interests and experience.

This position is being offered as a full time role. As an accredited 4 Day Week employer, our full time staff work 4 days (28 hours) per week.
The role will include administrative tasks which can be done from home or remotely, or if preferred, in our West London offices, as well as some work on location (primarily in London but sometimes elsewhere across the UK), which may involve long days, weekends and evening working. Time off in lieu will be given.

We are proud of the ethos and values which underpin everything we do at Stagecast. In particular, we believe our collaborative approach, mutual respect, passion for music and the arts, and aptitude for nurturing a relaxed and enjoyable working environment where contributions from everyone are valued, all make our company a great place to work. We want a diverse workforce – the benefits of diversity are well known and there can be no equality of opportunity if difference is not valued. We particularly welcome applications from those who identify as women or non-binary, and from people of the global majority.

In January 2024 we became an accredited Living Wage Employer, and in April 2024 we became an accredited 4 Day Week employer. Find out more about what we believe at stagecast.net/values.
