About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Lighting number 1 to manage a new immersive experience in London from the 25th October on a 6-day-a-week basis, in a North London Location. (Can be requested).

We are looking for someone to operate and maintain a lighting rig with an ETC control system, electrical effects and integrated set
electrics.

There will be a team of two in the department, so you will be responsible for managing an LX number 2.

You will work closely in a team with other heads of departments including Sound, video and Stage Management in order to support all
departments where required.

Due to the nature of the show and the fact it is a rolling immersive experience, it will be running multiple timecode/ Midi streams from a central control location and therefore you should have a good understanding of ETC control systems.

There is a small moving light rig along with a large generic rig and quantity of show set electrics that will need maintaining.

Duties to include:

• Power on and off over the whole site
• Focus checks and re lamp and colour as required
• Ensure all lighting equipment is in working order and carry out tests
• General maintenance
• Operate and maintain equipment during the shows
• Liaise with and work under the direction of the Company Stage manager throughout the project.
• Manage a lighting running budget and order items as required.
• Report back to the HOD or Lighting designer if there are any issues.
• Support and work with an LX number 2.
• Keep track of working hours.
