AP (with gaming experience)

About the Job

We're looking for an AP with Gaming experience/interests.

Freelance contract approx 3-6 months tbc.

Location: Bath / Remote.

This role will report directly to the Executive Producer, with a strong dotted line to various content directors throughout our organisation.

Job Purpose:

The Assistant Producer will drive forward the production and development of the Games Show in 2022 and beyond.

With a head full of great creative ideas, the successful candidate will be keen to bring their expertise and knowledge to every aspect of the show

Working with dedicated video editors and a pool of freelance resources. the successful candidate will work with the Executive Producer and other key stakeholders to play a key-role in the end-to-end creation, management and delivery of each show throughout the year

The Assistant Producer should also be a master at planning, idea generation, script writing and strategic production.

You must also respond to reasonable requests from the Executive Producer to assist in the creation of video for other projects.

This role will reward a creative thinker, with the confidence to work a wide number of internal teams and external clients.

You should also have an eye-for-detail and completer-finisher mindset.

You should be a confident self-starter, able to work with others to direct their talents, and be able to meet all of your deadlines.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate on repeat with various commercial and editorial leads to ensure that projects get delivered on time and on budget.

Work with our commercial sales team to ensure that they can utilise our video space to deliver content that exceeds clients’ expectations.

Help develop the Games Show and its sister presentations.

Collaborate with the global video team to understand company-wide objectives and offer non-brand specific support as needed.

Create a culture of enthusiasm and excellence in all that you do.

What do I need to succeed?

Strong planning and organisation skills

Knowledge of the online and live event space

Abode suite experience

Ability to follow established short-form templates/show-formats

Talent management experience

Ability to have the foresight to know how a video will all come together in post

Flexible to work with a small team, or scaling up as a part of a larger crew, to contribute to all areas of video production

A diplomatic, can-do attitude that seeks to get the job done… on repeat.
